windows 8 Metro based handwriting recognition
A new Windows 8 leak reveals the newly revamped handwriting recognition support for the upcoming Windows 8 operating system.
It's obviously from the look and feel of it a Metro style application.

As you can see from the image, the new Handwriting Tool is completely redesigned.
This will be huge for the Windows 8 Tablets category. If Microsoft can implement character recognition well, this becomes an obious advantage over the Ipad. It will absolutely be a huge talking point that will differentiate Windows 8 Tablets from Ipads as serious work devices.
As you all know, Ipads have traditionally been slammed as media consumption devices that don't allow you to do "real work".
